Are you a CARB-credentialed tester who needs your listing corrected or removed? We're glad to help. Here's how our data works and how to make a request.
Where our listings come from
Tester listings are sourced from CARB's public Clean Truck Check Vehicle Inspection System (CTC-VIS) tester database and re-synced weekly. CARB is the source of truth: when your CTC-VIS record changes, our directory picks up the change on the next weekly sync.
The most durable fix is at CARB
For corrections to your name, business name, address, or phone, the lasting fix is to update your CTC-VIS record directly with CARB by emailing [email protected]. Those details flow into our directory automatically on the next weekly sync.
Request a correction or removal here
We can also act on a verified request directly. To make sure a request really comes from the business it affects — and not a competitor or a disgruntled customer — we email a one-time confirmation link to the email address CARB has on file for the listing, not to an address you type. Confirming that link is what authorizes the change.
How removals work
Once a removal is confirmed via the emailed link, your listing is removed from the directory and stays removed across our weekly CARB syncs. It is processed within 1 business day. CARB remains the source of truth — to remove your record at the source, update CTC-VIS via [email protected].
How corrections work
We can update your website link directly once a correction is confirmed. Other details — name, business name, address, city, phone, and the testing capabilities shown — come straight from CARB and are refreshed on every weekly sync, so the lasting fix for those is in CTC-VIS. We record every verified correction request so we can follow up where it helps.
